Ottawa baseball fans will have a reason to return to the ballpark next spring as the Ottawa Rapidz prepare to take to the field under the ownership of the Can-Am League.
Commissioner Miles Wolff is expected to make the announcement at a news conference next week.
The league is also talking to at least two new prospective owners.
The Rapidz folded in September under the ownership of Rob Hall with a reported debt of $1.4 million.
