Latest on Ottawa Police hunt for sexual predator

Ottawa Police are pouring over more than 100 tips in its investigation of a serial sexual offender.

Tonight on CTV News at six, an exclusive look at the police investigation trying to catch the suspect.

Police say one suspect who is responsible for three sexual assaults , and could be connected to seven more .

In all of the sexual assaults, a total of 10, police say the women had been walking alone, after dark, when they were jumped by a stranger.

  Ottawa Police investigators are pouring over the details of more than 100 tips from the public.

  Suspect description: possibly of Middle Eastern descent, short dark hair, spoke English and possibly a foreign language, 20-30 years old, 5’9” to 5’11” (175 to 180cm), slim to medium build, trimmed facial hair, thick eyebrows and a prominent nose. (Ottawa Police handout)
