Sunday noon, pre-Game 3. Lots of talk today about the hit. Ottawa defenceman Andy Sutton catching Penguins defenceman Jordan Leopold with his head down. Leopold is out for Game 3.

Kingston's Jay McKee, a veteran, steps in. Talked with Penguins forward Mike Rupp ,who is among team leaders in hits. He says the hit will up the intensity of the series - it has to when you see a teammate go down.

Clean hit? He says first contact was made with Leopold's head but adds, its hard to let up when you're committed to a hit. He says if he were in Sutton's skates, he would have followed through too. Game 2 was physical. Game 3 should be similar.

The Senators will be in trouble if they don't get more offence from their big three: Alfredsson, Spezza and Fisher. Two games, no goals. The Senators have been great at home this year. The Penguins have been a solid road team.

Buckle up. Could be nasty tonight.
