Ottawa Police say they have charged a third person in relation to an October shooting on George Street.
25-year-old Kendra Michaelis has been arrested and charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking. She has been released on a promise to appear.
The charges come nearly one month after a 27-year-old man was shot in the ByWard Market around 3:00 a.m. on October 2nd. The victim in that case was sent to hospital in critical condition.
28-year-old Ayanle Siad and 31-year-old Edgar Casseus are also facing a number of charges including attempted murder, using a firearm carelessly, possession of a dangerous weapon, and occupying a motor vehicle with a firearm.
