It’s the final weekend to enjoy a day at the beach in Ottawa.
Ottawa’s public beaches close for the summer on Sunday and lifeguards will no longer be on duty.
Lifeguards have been working at Britannia, Westboro, Mooney’s Bay and Petrie Island beaches since June 17.
Some City of Ottawa public wading pools are already closed for the summer. The rest of the city’s wading pools will close Monday.
