Wakes for a mother and daughter who were shot to death at their home near Belleville will be held Tuesday.
Tracy Hannah, 46, and her daughter Whitney, 14, were killed by gunfire on March 12 at their home in Ameliasburg, Ont. The man charged in their deaths is the ex-boyfriend of Shannon Hannah, who was also seriously injured in the shooting.
Another teen was inside the home at the time of the incident. She was spending the night and hid in a closet, escaping uninjured.
Dean Brown, 18, is charged with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder. He was scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
Ontario's Alcohol and Gaming Commission is now investigating allegations that the 18-year-old man was served alcohol in a bar several hours before the murders took place.
A double-funeral for Tracy and Whitney will be held on Wednesday.
