Quebec provincial police have issued a warrant for a suspect in the Aug. 17 shooting at a Gatineau strip club.
La Sûreté du Québec is looking for the public's help to locate 25-year-old Abdulrazek "Mook" Al-Fadli of Ottawa on a charge of attempted murder.
Al-Fadli allegedly shot a bouncer at Cabaret Taboo twice in the chest following an argument.
Provincial police said they became involved after a Gatineau police officer was involved in a shooting outside the bar – the SQ said the suspects tried to hit an officer with their vehicle when one was shot by police.
Three other people were arrested.
Al-Fadli is described as having brown hair, weighing 57 kilograms (about 125 pounds) and about five feet five inches tall.
The night of the shooting he was wearing a white sweater, dark pants and white shoes.
Police say he is considered dangerous.
