Residents got their first look at design plans for the urban park that will be created as part of the redevelopment plans at Lansdowne Park.
Designs for the publicly-funded park will go before city council this summer.
Various ideas include an ornamental garden, an apple orchard, a children's garden and an outdoor curling rink.
A second public meeting is scheduled for Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Ottawa South Community Centre.
