An Ottawa man's best friend is missing after his car was stolen along with his dog earlier this week.
"He understands me. We understand each other," Marion told CTV Ottawa on Wednesday.
A day earlier, Marion left his dog Brynn in his car while he went shopping, leaving the windows open a bit so his pet could stay cool.
When Gilles came back, his car was gone and so was his dog, a blend of Jack Russell terrier and corgi.
"Those guys in the car could have opened the back door and let him off. He could still be alive," said Marion.
Ottawa police are still searching for Marion's car and the missing dog. Those who may have spotted Brynn, are asked to call 1-647-272-8727.
