Ottawa fire officials say about a dozen homes were evacuated after a gas leak in the area of Bayne and David Drive Tuesday afternoon.
Bayne was closed at Meadowlands Drive and a section of David Drive was also closed between Joan and Bayne while Enbridge Gas crews worked to resolve the issue.
Officials reported the leak fixed before 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon.
