Spring today, gone tomorrow!

The drastic swing in temperature in Ottawa Monday had many enjoying outdoor patios, going for a run along the Rideau Canal and procrastinating.

"It’s so nice we are supposed to be studying but we are not, we can't stay inside its ridiculous,” said one young woman.

“It’s been a crappy winter it’s nice to be out running again,” said a jogger.

The temperature in Ottawa reached a high of 25 C, but Environment Canada says it will drop to 6 C by Monday night and -3 C by Tuesday.

Rain, freezing rain, and even snow are in the forecast for Ottawa and much of Eastern Ontario, according to Environment Canada.

Motorists are being advised to be prepared for hazardous winter driving conditions due to low visibility and deteriorating road conditions due to freezing rain.

More seasonal temperatures are expected by the end of this week.
