Construction worker killed in workplace mishap
A 61-year-old construction worker who was pinned underneath a tandem trailer near the Canadian War Museum has died of his injuries.
Paramedics say co-workers had to use a forklift to get the trailer off the man's body.
The worker was rushed to hospital but later succumbed to severe head and chest injuries.
The Ontario Ministry of Labour is now on scene to investigate the workplace accident.
Ottawa Police is also seeking witnesses to the collision.
