Winterlude visitors to the canal are being reminded to read parking signs carefully this weekend.
Special event signs have appeared at the top of parking posts saying you can’t park there. However, some drivers have been confused because the one-hour parking signs are still visible below.
Bylaw enforcement officials are working with tow truck operators in the Glebe neighborhood, particularly on Fifth Avenue and O’Connor, to quickly tow away cars illegally parked.
One neighbor, who didn’t want to be identified, told CTV News, she is worried about people being left out in the cold when they return to find their cars gone.
