An 18-year-old man is in hospital in serious condition after he was run over by a paving roller machine at a work site at the Museum of Science and Technology early Thursday afternoon.
Ottawa paramedics treated the young worker for a fractured pelvis and traumatic injuries to both of his legs.
Paramedics say the incident happened when four rubber wheels at the back end of a four-ton paving roller machine ran over his lower body.
Police say the Ministry of Labour has been called in to investigate.
