Shania Twain is getting set to "rock this country", including a stop in Ottawa on Saturday, Jun. 27, 2015 at Wesley Clover Park (see map below), the recently redeveloped equestrian facility in Nepean. The site can hold up to 40,000 people. The Twain concert will be the facility’s first show.
Twain confirmed on ABC’s Good Morning America she will be hitting the road starting June 5, 2015. The tour will include 13 shows in Canada, including stops in Vancouver, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, London, Hamilton, Toronto and Montreal.
Twain is the pride of Timmins, Ontario and finished a spectacular two year run in Las Vegas in December.
The Ottawa stop on her “Rock This Country” tour will be her first stop in the capital since 2003.
Twain has sold 75 million albums worldwide.
