The Senators have traded goaltender Brian Elliott to the Colorado Avalanche for goalie Craig Anderson.
The news comes less than a day after the Sens traded veteran agitator Jarkko Ruutu to the Anaheim Ducks for a 6th round pick in the 2011 NHL draft.
Elliott is the fourth Sens player to be traded in just over a week, following Mike Fisher, Chris Kelly, and Ruutu out of the city.
The Sens will face the Boston Bruins and former Senator Kelly tonight at Scotiabank Place. The game will be televised on TSN beginning at 7:30 PM.
