Veteran agitator Jarkko Ruutu is now the third player sent packing as the Ottawa Senators continue their purge.
The Sens sent the 35-year-old to the Anaheim Ducks Tuesday for a 6th round pick in the 2011 NHL draft.
The winger was in the final year of a three year and scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent in the off-season.
The Senators will face the Boston Bruins and former Senator Chris Kelly tonight at Scotiabank Place. You can watch the game on TSN beginning at 7:30 PM.
