As the Ottawa Senators get set for two home games in their bid to pass to the second round of the NHL playoffs, Sens fever is starting to appear in the Capital.

On Sens Mile, spirit is starting to grow but is still far from what it was like at this time last year.

Ottawa Senators flags are hard to find on vehicles but fans say that could change if a win is in the Sens' future.

By Monday morning, there were still about 300 tickets available for the first home game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Those without tickets to the game were asked to join ticket holders in the Sens Red Zone outside Scotiabank Place for a pre-game party.

Daniel Alfredsson will be on the ice for a pre-game skate Monday night and could be in the lineup for Game 3.

The Sens are looking to net their first win after losing two games to the Penguins.
