NEW YORK - Forward Jamie Benn of the Dallas Stars and Joffrey Lupul of the Toronto Maple Leafs as well as Ottawa Senators goalie Craig Anderson were named the NHL's three stars of the week Monday.
Benn had seven points (four goals, three assists) as Dallas won two-of-three games. The third-year pro has recorded points in 10 of his last 11 games.
Lupul helped Toronto earn three straight wins with seven points (two goals, five assists). Lupul has 19 goals and 28 assists this season to stand fourth overall in NHL scoring.
Anderson posted a 3-0-1 record in four appearances with Ottawa. He also had a 2.41 goals-against average and .929 save percentage and leads all NHL goalies in games (38), shots faced (1,120) and saves (1,010).
