Prince William and Kate will arrive on Parliament Hill to celebrate Canada Day just after midday on July 1, according to an itinerary announced by Canadian Heritage.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will arrive on Parliament Hill in a Landau at 12:07 p.m.

The Royal couple will be escorted by the RCMP, and will be accompanied by Governor General David Johnston and his wife, Sharon.

The Royals will be officially greeted by Prime Minister Stephen Harper and his family when they arrive. Prince William will then deliver a speech to the crowd at 1:14 p.m.

The newly married Royals will be in Ottawa to start their first official overseas tour on June 30. They will also make stops in Montreal, Quebec City, Charlottetown, Summerside, Yellowknife and Calgary.

More details about the Royal itinerary are expected to be released in a few days.
