A 31-year-old Quebec woman is dead after a two-vehicle collision on County Road 17, west of Hawkesbury.
Ontario provincial police say Jaime Lane, of Dorval, Que., died at the civic campus of the Ottawa Hospital Monday night after suffering life-threatening injuries in the crash.
Police say Lane collided with an eastbound vehicle just before 6:20 p.m. Monday.
Lane and her passenger had to be extricated from the vehicle. All three people involved in the collision were transported to hospital in Hawkesbury. Lane was later transferred to Ottawa Hospital.
Police say the cause of the collision remains under investigation.
