Emergency crews were called to Laurier Ave. near Metcalfe early Friday afternoon after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.
Ottawa Paramedics say they got the call shortly after noon. They treated a 49-year-old woman for a minor head injury.
They say she was knocked to the ground by a slow-moving vehicle.
She was taken to hospital in stable condition.
Ottawa Police closed Laurier St. between Metcalfe and O’Connor around the noon hour to investigate.
The street has since been re-opened.
