Ottawa police are investigating a sexual assault that occurred on the corner of Slater St. and Elgin St. early Sunday morning.
At around 12:55 am, a 25-year-old woman was walking southbound on Elgin St. when a man approached her from behind. He then put his hand on her face saying it contained a bodily substance.
The suspect is described as a white man, 5'7" to 5'8", 25 to 35 years old with a medium build. He was wearing a beige coat and possibly a red hat.
