A new poll shows the Liberal Party gaining a small lead over its competitors as Election Day looms for Ontarians on Thursday.
An overnight poll by Nanos Research shows the Liberals up to more than 40 percent, a jump of 2.5 points in 24 hours.
Tim Hudak's Progressive Conservatives are down slightly, trailing by almost seven points.
The Liberal support came at the expense of Andrea Horwath's NDP. Support for the party went down 2.5 percent.
