A candlelight vigil was held Saturday along the Ottawa River for two Chinese students who vanished while boating last weekend.
Mourners gathered at Britannia Beach, near where the men were last seen trying to traverse the Desch�nes Rapids.
Chen Yuan, a Carleton University student, and Fan Zheng Meng, who attended Algonquin College, were at a cook-out last Saturday when they decided to go for a ride in a inflatable dinghy.
Police believe the rapids overwhelmed their vessel. Their bodies have not been despite a wide search of the river.
