BARRIE, Ont. - Steven Beyers scored two goals in his first game back from injury as the Barrie Colts blasted the Kingston Frontenacs 6-1 in Ontario Hockey League action Saturday in Barrie.

Tanner Pearson, Dylan Smoskowitz, Zach Hall and Brendan Bell each scored the other goals for Barrie (6-4-1), who has now defeated Kingston (1-10-2) in 14 of its last 19 encounters.

Former Colt Petr Beranek had the lone goal for the Frontenacs, who have now lost nine games in a row.

Clint Windsor, making his second start of the year, turned aside 36 shots to pick up the victory for Barrie.

Kingston's Blake Richard, in his first start since the Frontenacs' season opener, made 38 saves in defeat.

Barrie was successful on the man advantage, going 3-for-6 on the night while Kingston ended the game at 0-for-5.
