The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has recalled several Silk and Great Value brand plant-based refrigerated beverages due to Listeria concerns.

The bacteria can cause Listeriosis and lead to severe illness.

Jeff Farber is an adjunct food science professor at the University of Guelph.
