KINGSTON, Ont. - Ryan Spooner scored twice and Igor Bobkov made 31 saves as the Kingston Frontenacs shutout the Oshawa Generals 7-0 on Friday night in Ontario Hockey League action.
Cody Alcock, Kyler Nixon, Tyler J. Brown, Darcy Greenaway and Petr Beranek added singles to round out the Frontenacs (4-13-3) scoring.
Dan Altshuller made 34 saves in defeat as Oshawa (9-11-2) drops to 3-7 over their last 10 games.
Special teams were a big part of Kingston's success as they scored three power-play goals and one short-handed goal.
