Plans to redevelop Lansdowne Park could take another twist now that a group of councillors are pushing for a compromise.
That compromise includes reducing the amount of retail space at Lansdowne Park, changing ownership of the Aberdeen Pavilion and launching a design competition for the area stretching to the Rideau Canal.
Although the current Lansdowne Live plan was created with the involvement of city staff, the developers behind the project say they're open to ideas.
However, Roger Greenberg said the push by at least one councillor to turn the entire site into an urban park, is not a change he's willing to make.
Council is expected to make a final decision on Lansdowne Live on Nov. 13.
