As Ottawa copes through yet another cold snap, confirmation today this winter is the coldest in the capital in 20 years.
Senior Climatologist at Environment Canada, David Phillips, says new data shows it hasn't been this cold in the capital since 1994.
Phillips says even people who embrace winter are tired and weary.
"The weather was great for Winterlude, no issues with that. Now people are saying enough is enough. We think that we're owed good weather now', Phillips told CTV Ottawa.
Ottawa Public Heath has issued a Frostbite Advisory until February 28, 2014.
This winter has thrown everything at Ottawa.
From the Polar Vortex, snow squalls, freezing rain, and even the odd day or two of rain just to make flooding an issue.
