The city of Ottawa is offering free transportation Tuesday to residents attending the Celebration of Life for Max Keeping.  Three OC Transpo buses will be made available on a first come, first-served basis. The buses will leave from the Lisgar Street entrance of Ottawa city hall at 11 a.m. and return from the Canadian Tire Centre after the end of the ceremony.

Former CTV Ottawa news anchor Max Keeping passed away October 1st, after a lengthy battle with cancer.  His legacy as a community-builder and news leader is being honored at a special memorial ceremony at the CTC Tuesday, October 13, beginning at noon.  CTV News will broadcast the special on the CTV News at Noon.

The City will also honour Max Keeping by flying the flags at City Hall at half-mast from sunrise to sunset on Tuesday, October 13.
