PICTON - A jury in Picton. Ont., has convicted Dean Brown of two counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder.
It took about four hours Wednesday for the jury to reach its verdict and end a month-long trial against the 20-year-old man from Belleville, Ont.
Brown shot and killed 46-year-old Tracy Hannah and 14-year-old Whitney Hannah and tried to kill his ex-girlfriend, Shannon Hannah.
The victims were shot at the Hannah home near Mountainview, south of Belleville, in March of last year.
Victim impact statements will be heard on Friday morning and sentencing may begin then as well.
