Ottawa paramedics say two women are in serious condition in hospital after being dragged three metres by a moving van Tuesday.
It happened just after 11 a.m. on Calderwood Way in Barrhaven.
Paramedics say a pickup truck struck a parked moving van which then dragged the two women who were unloading boxes.
Paramedics say a 34-year-old woman is being treated for leg and head injuries. A 30-year old woman was taken to hospital with head and rib injuries.
The driver of the truck was treated for an arm injury.
