A Smiths Falls teacher is facing several charges of sexual assault.
Smiths Falls police opened an investigation June 10 after receiving a report of inappropriate conduct by a teacher at Smiths Falls District Collegiate Institute.
36 year old Blair Cathcart was arrested yesterday.
He's facing six counts of sexual assault, five counts of sexual interference and one count of sexual exploitation.
Cathcart is scheduled to appear in court August 22.
