Riviera on Sparks Street has cracked the list of Canada's 30 best new restaurants.
The annual list is compiled by Air Canada's enRoute magazine. The 2017 long list was released this week.
Riviera is the only Ottawa restaurant that made the cut.
Seven of the top 30 restaurants are in Toronto, and five are in Montreal. Four are in Vancouver.
Riviera opened in July 2016. It's the third collaboration between chefs Matthew Carmichael and Jordan Holley, who also launched El Camino and Datsun, both on Elgin Street.
The top 10 best new restaurants in Canada will be revealed at an event in Toronto later this year.
