Environment Canada had issued a rain warning for almost all of southern Ontario.
Ottawa was expecting up to 60 millimetres of rain.
Just last week we reported almost drought-like conditions and waterways down about 20 centimetres.
Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
