The motorcyclist accused of terrorizing drivers and waiving a handgun in Ottawa’s west end has been arrested and charged.

25-year-old James Cole is facing two counts of pointing a firearm and two counts of breach of probation.

Ottawa Police and OPP say they’ve investigated a number of complaints this month about the driver of a red Honda CBR.

The motorcycle has primarily been seen in Ottawa’s west end. The most recent siting was around 9:40 a.m. Thursday in the Dwyer Hill Road and Highway 7 area.

Police say the driver brandished a handgun to vehicles that didn’t give enough room for passing.
