OTTAWA -- An Ottawa police officer who was found guilty of discreditable conduct in 2010 has until next week to either quit the force -- or be fired.
A police hearing two years ago found Constable Jeffrey Gulick guilty of discreditable conduct for an incident in May 2008 in which he assaulted four other officers.
Gulick appealed the ruling -- first to the Ontario Civilian Police Commission and then to the Ontario Superior Court of Justice divisional court.
The court dismissed his final appeal on Wednesday.
