Ottawa police have charged an 18-year-old Ottawa after an accidental shooting in Ottawa’s west end on Thursday.
Kevin Parks has been charged with five offences, including carelessly using a firearm and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
A victim was shot shortly after 9:00 p.m. on Twin Elm Rd. on Thursday evening.
The victim’s injuries are not life-threatening. Police seized two long guns from the residence where the shooting occurred.
