One person is displaced after a fire in the west end.
Ottawa fire fighters battled a blaze at a home on Carleton Ave. at Sunnymede Ave. around 2:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
Fire officials say the lone occupant of the house suffered smoke inhalation and one fire fighter was transported to the Civic Hospital with minor burns.
Ottawa fire says the blaze was under control within an hour.
The cause or cost of damages have not yet been determined.
