KINGSTON, Ont. -- A man is facing charges after allegedly trying to disarm two Kingston, Ont., police officers.

Police say officers went to a home early Tuesday to investigate a report that a 33-year-old man had assaulted his uncle after the 58-year-old complained that his nephew was making too much noise.

The uncle suffered minor head injuries.

During the arrest, it's alleged the man grabbed an officer's holstered Taser, but police say the officer managed to adjust his grip and stance to prevent being disarmed.

While being processed in the cell booking area, it's alleged the man grabbed the Taser of a second officer, and once more had to be brought under control.

The man is facing charges of assault and two counts of disarming a police officer.
