A Go Fund Me account has been started for a local woman involved in a horrific crash that killed two people in Indiana.

The fiery crash happened on June 4th in the town of porter.

Police say a group of four vans were travelling westbound when another van went off route and entered westbound traffic, resulting in a head-on collision. The crash set off a large fire.

Debbie Armstrong from Ottawa escaped the fire and friends managed to pull her to safety.

She suffered a number of injuries but lost all her belongings.

Debbie is hoping to make her way home in the next few weeks.
