A firefighter was taken to hospital with a shoulder injury Thursday after falling through the floor of a burning home in Greely.

The fire began around 2:30 p.m. at a bungalow on Thunder Road.

Officials say the firefighter was able to get out through a basement window with help from fellow crew members.

Crews were ordered out of the house to fight the fire from the outside after flames engulfed the interior of the home.

No other injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
