Police are investigating after a body was found behind the Supreme Court of Canada on Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2014.
The gruesome discovery was made around 12:55 p.m. Tuesday. The body was found behind a 10-foot wall at the back of the Supreme Court, near the Ottawa River.
Police believe the body had been there for a while. They are not ruling out foul play.
The body is believed to belong to a man in his early 50s. ID was found at the scene. The individual's identity has not been released.
