Young woman sexually assaulted in Ottawa apartment

A 21-year-old woman was sexually assaulted Sunday morning in Ottawa's Sandy Hill neighbourhood.

A lone male entered an apartment at 7:15 a.m. where two women were sleeping. The man held a knife to one of the women who awoke when he began fondling her breasts.

The other woman woke up and told the man to leave. He demanded money, without success, and he left on foot.

The suspect is described as white with a fair complexion, 20 to 25-years-old, unshaven or with acne on his face, possibly wearing glasses, and wearing a hood over his head and face.
