A 52-year old woman is facing several charges after police arrested her for driving naked and under the influence of alcohol.
On June 20, police were alerted about someone driving erratically on McCrank Rd. in La Pêche, Quebec.
MRC Des Collines police say when they arrived, the driver, a La Pêche resident, refused to get out of the car and started being verbally abusive towards them.
Police had to cut off her seatbelt to be able to get her out of the vehicle before taking her to a police station where she was dressed.
Police found she was driving with three times more alcohol in her system than is legally permitted.
The woman is due in court on September 19 to face charges of impaired driving, refusal and obstruction.
She was also fined $267 for verbally abusing police officers.
Police say they don’t know why she was driving naked.
