A school bus driver and one child were safe after the vehicle caught fire just before 8:00 a.m. on Stagecoach Road in Ottawa's south end.
The school bus driver had just started the morning run when the bus became fully engulfed.
The bus driver and and the child stayed warm in a passerby's vehicle while fire crews extinguished the blaze.
