BANCROFT, Ont. - A man from the Bancroft, Ont., area is dead after being electrocuted Wednesday night by a high voltage hydro line.
Provincial police say the 46-year-old man had climbed a hydro pole to try to turn his power back on.
He came into contact with a 7,200 volt line and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim's name has not been released.
