Ottawa police are asking for the public's help in their search for two men wanted in connection to two separate sexual assaults in the city's west end over the weekend.

Police describe the man wanted for a sexual assault that occurred on a bike path near the Lincoln Fields transit station as a black male with a slim build, between the ages of 20 and 30. He was wearing a white T-shirt and dark pants at the time of the attack.

Police say the man dragged a 30-year-old woman into the woods while she was jogging on a bike path near Carling and Connaught avenues between 8 and 10 p.m. Saturday. Police say the woman was dragged into the woods and sexually assaulted after she came across the man who appeared to be tying his shoe.

The assault happened not far from where 39-year-old Pamela Kosmack's beaten and half-naked body was found by a woman walking her dog on a bike path near Britannia Park in June.

Meanwhile, Ottawa police are also searching for a 35-year-old man who is wanted in relation to a violent sex assault that occurred at a Melbourne Avenue residence on Saturday.

Police say they've obtained a warrant for the arrest of Robert Gustave Dupuis, of Ottawa, who is wanted on charges of aggravated sexual assault and forcible confinement stemming from the incident.

Dupuis is described as having a shaved head, brown eyes and tattoos on his upper arms, shoulder, chest and upper back. He is about 6' tall and weighs 250 pounds.

Anyone with information about either case is asked to contact Ottawa police at 613-236-1222, ext. 5944 or Crime Stoppers at 613-233-TIPS.
