Ottawa police are asking for the public's help in their search for the man who sexually assaulted a woman this past weekend.
The suspect is described as a black male between the ages of 20 and 30 with a slim build and was wearing a white t-shirt and dark pants at the time of the attack. Police are looking to speak with anyone who may have seen a man with that description Saturday evening.
That night, the suspect dragged a woman into the woods while she was jogging on a bike path in Ottawa's west end and sexually assaulted her.
The 30-year-old woman was jogging near Carling and Connaught avenues near the Lincoln Fields transit station between 8 and 10 p.m. when she came across a man tying his shoe.
Police are looking for anyone who may have seen the man in the area or on adjacent bike paths.
The assault happened not far from where 39-year-old Pamela Kosmack's beaten and half-naked body was found in June.
Her body was discovered by a woman walking her dog on a bike path near Britannia Park in Ottawa's west end.
